Addicted To Alex Meraz

As many of you know, Alex was one of the guests at the Ring Con, the biggest Fantasy convention in Europe that took place in Bonn from the 14th to the 16th October.

Your staff was there to see him.

He arrived on friday and the same day attended the first panel with the fans. Here we discovered that this new painting (Alex twitted it on October 13th)

It’s the first painting he was able to do in over a year. It was suppose to be a portrait of himself, but somewhere in beetween it became a woman with six eyes.

At the question about how was finishing filming The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn he said that shooting the last scene at Jacob Black’s house Kiowa Gordon (Embry Call) Bronson Pelletier (Jared) and himself where overwhelmed by emotions and cried.

He was asked what his friends said about the sex scene in Never Back Down2, “They said it was nasty” and it would had been better if Alex had warn them about what was coming.

Alex also told us that he had to stop shooting in New York because of the crazy schedule caused to the promotion of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 that’s nearly coming out.

During the second panel that took place on Sunday a fan asked Alex an embarassing episode. He said that once during a Twilight convention in Phoenix someone asked him “Did you use to work in a gay bar as waiter?” Alex was very embarassed and wondered how could he had recognized him because he was wearing a blue wig.

Alex è arrivato venerdì in tarda mattinata e sempre venerdì ha preso parte al primo panel.

Proprio durante il panel di venerdì scopriamo che l’ultimo dipinto da lui creato (postato su twitter qualche giorno fa) inizialmente doveva essere un autoritratto, ma che con l’andare delle pennellate si è trasformato in una donna a sei occhi. Questo è stato il primo lavoro che è riuscito a realizzare in un anno.

Quando gli è stato chiesto com’è stato finire di girare la Saga di Twilight Alex racconta che lui Kiowa Gordon (Embry) e Bronson Pelletier (Jared) si sono commossi durante l’ultima ripresa nella casa di Jacob Black.

Un’altra domanda riguardava la reazione degli amici alla scena di sesso in Never Back Down2. Alex dice che sono stati colpiti, ma che la visione era “disgustosa” e gli hanno detto che avrebbe dovuto avvertirli prima.

Meraz ha riferito che ha dovuto interrompere le riprese del nuovo film a New York per il calendario fitto di impegni per la promozione di The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn che uscirà prossimamente.

Durante il panel della domenica (insieme con i colleghi Bill Tangradi, Guri Weinberg, Bronson Pelletier e Patrick Brennan) gli è stato chiesto di raccontare un momento imbarazzante accadutogli durante la sua carriera. Alex dice che mentre si trovava ad una convention in Phoenix qualcuno gli si è avviciniato e gli ha domandato “Ma tu non facevi il cameriere in un gay club?” Alex imbarazzatissimo ha pensato “Come ha fatto ha riconoscermi, indossavo una parrucca blu!”
